Drug Discovery World (DDW) will be hosting its first Turning Science into Business Symposium on Tuesday 4 November at the Francis Crick Institute in London, UK.

The symposium will explore upcoming areas of opportunity in drug discovery, like AI-driven drug design, omics and PROTACS, as well as the challenges the industry will face in embracing new these technologies and modalities.

The exclusive event will consist of six in-depth topic presentations, followed by a panel discussion, which will examine new processes and technology, with a focus on how they can create efficiencies and expedite the drug discovery process.

The half-day conference will include a 30 minute coffee/networking break and is free to attend subject to qualification.

Presentation topics could include:

  • The story of success: From bench to bedside, accelerating successful drug discovery using technology
  • Maximising the opportunity in neurodegenerative diseases
  • How to incorporate AI and machine learning in your research journey
  • The potential for technologies that can degrade or modulate previously undruggable targets, such as transcription factors and protein-protein interactions
  • Untapped opportunities in the expanding target space
  • How omics and multi-omics data can help identify novel therapeutic targets and transform drug development

The event will be sponsored by Nuclera and CDD Vault, with further sponsorship opportunities available. Contact Sarah Orme on sarah@edifydigitalmedia.com or Rich York on rich@edifydigitalmedia.com to find out more.
