What can we learn from the genome?

This is the latest episode of the free narrated DDW podcast, “What can we learn from the genome?”. It covers two narrated articles written for Volume 22, Issue 3 – Summer 2021 of DDW and read aloud by Megan Thomas. The articles are called “Reproducibility in single cell genomic analysis” and “The road to global pharmacogenomics”.  

In the first article, Andrew Gane, Diagnostics Strategy & Technology Manager at Cytiva, discusses how genomic mutations can support the more effective treatment of diseases in the future. In the second article, Dr Richard O’Kennedy, Vice-President for Research, Development and Innovation at Qatar Foundation, looks at the global potential within pharmacogenomics.
