David Favre, Chief Development Officer, SpliceBio
Dr Favre brings more than 25 years of experience in gene therapy, immunology and drug development throughout academia and the biopharma industry. He joins SpliceBio from Innoskel, where he served as Chief Scientific Officer.
Kate Woolland, Chief Operating Officer, Closed Loop Medicine
Bringing extensive strategic business experience, including over 13 years in healthcare, Kate will play a pivotal role in leading collaboration across the multi-disciplinary team whilst working closely with current and future commercial partners.
Professor Roger Dmochowski, Chief Medical Officer, Versameb
Professor Dmochowski is widely recognised for his contributions to the field of urologic health and clinical development. He is a past member of the US FDA’s Bone, Reproductive and Urologic Drugs Advisory Committee (BRUDAC).
Matt Lewis, Global Chief Artificial and Augmented Intelligence Officer, and Paul Hatton, President, Medical Analytics and Innovation, Inizio
Lewis will work with senior leaders and international clients to establish a centre of excellence for AI solutions. Hatton will lead the Medical Analytics Practice vision, with responsibility for continuing to embed the latest digital innovations and advanced analytics practices across the business.
Nick Foster, Vice President, Discovery CRO, Cresset
Foster joins Cresset from Metrion Biosciences, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Business Development. He has previously held senior leadership positions with WuXi AppTec and Optibrium.
Dr Steve Jenkinson, VP, Drug Discovery and Safety Assessment, Metrion Biosciences
Jenkinson has spent over 25 years in leadership positions driving drug discovery projects for GSK and Tanabe Research Laboratories. He joins Metrion from Pfizer where he was Senior Director.
Professor Michael Hudecek, Chief Medical Officer, and Dr Karl Schumacher, Chief Clinical Officer, T-CURX
Professor Hudecek is a co-founder of T-CURX and a member of its Scientific Advisory Board. Schumacher is an industry-experienced MD with many years of experience in conducting oncology clinical trials in an industry setting.
Dr Samantha Macro, Chief Financial Officer, CN Bio
Most recently, Macro was VP of Finance at Mestag Therapeutics, where she was a core part of the leadership team that secured the company’s successful $45 million seed financing round. Prior to this, Samantha was Global Head of Finance at Horizon Discovery.
Veerle d’Haenens, General Manager, Global Therapeutic Systems and Cell Therapy Technologies, Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies
d’Haenens will oversee the company’s investments and initiatives across these businesses, to shape the cell therapy ecosystem to better facilitate the journey of life-saving cells from patient and donor cell collections through cell processing and manufacturing.
Hasan Hallaq, European Sales Director, Victoria Ordsmith, Director of Marketing, and Sarennah Longworth-Cook, Director of People, H.E.L Group
Hallaq combines 10 years field- with 10 years lab-based experience gained in laboratory instrumentation, software and services. Ordsmith has over eight years’ experience in analytical scientific instrumentation gained at Microsaic Systems. Longworth-Cook is promoted from her current position as H.E.L’s Training and Development Manager.
