Webinar: How automation and AI can standardise organoid workflows
Hosted by Drug Discovery World and supported by Galatek, this webinar explores how automation and AI enable reliable, scalable models by standardising organoid workflows.
Organoids have emerged as powerful in vitro models in disease modelling, drug screening, and regenerative medicine, but their complexity introduces major workflow challenges, from culture variability to labour-intensive handling.
On 26 November 2025, this webinar will explore the evolving landscape of organoid research, identify common bottlenecks in daily workflows, and examine how intelligent automation and AI-driven solutions can streamline organoid culture, maintenance, and analysis.
Professor Matthias Hebrok, Director of the Center for Organoid Systems at Technical University Munich and Director of the Institute for Diabetes and Organoid Technology at Helmholtz Center Munich, will share his work on the optimisation of stem cell-derived pancreatic islets. Then Dominic Laubner, Business Development Manager at Galatek, will introduce Galatek’s integrated organoid platform – including the O1600 workstation, ready-to-use organoid kits, and the CellVue High-content imaging system – as a case study in scalable, reproducible automation.
A Q&A with the speakers follows the presentations.
