New £20m fund launches to support North West life sciences
A new £20 million fund has been launched in the Northwest of England to help support the region’s life sciences sector. The ‘GMC Life Sciences Fund By Praetura’ is a partnership between Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Bruntwood SciTech and Praetura Ventures.
Calidi granted US patent for immunotherapy platform
Biotechnology company Calidi Biotherapeutics has been granted a US patent for its SuperNova (SNV) technology platform. Calidi’s SNV platform is composed of allogeneic, adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AD-MSC) loaded with an oncolytic agent.
