Roche Diagnostics and ABL Diagnostics have launched a distribution partnership which will see Roche supplying ABLD products to South African laboratories.
Roche now has exclusive rights to distribute products, including the ABL DeepChek assays to laboratories implementing microbiology applications. These applications include HIV, Tuberculosis, Cytomegalovirus, Viral Hepatitis, Human Papillomavirus, 16s/18s RNA, BKV and other infectious diseases.
The combination of Roche’s expertise in the local microbiology market and the ABLD product portfolio will reportedly make it easier for laboratories to access robust genotyping by sequencing solutions at competitive prices and with local support.
