myTomorrows to use funding to ‘transform’ patient therapy access
Health technology company myTomorrows has secured $29 million in funding to develop its AI-driven global platform, aiming to bring patients access to innovative therapies.
The company aims to develop a platform to bridge the gap between scientific advancement and patient access to pre-approval treatments. This includes drug candidates undergoing clinical trials or expanded access programmes (EAPs).
Healthcare investment firm Avego committed to myTomorrows as part of the financing round, which myTomorrows hopes will help connect patients to physicians, trial sites and biopharma partners via its platform. It is hoped the platform can also shorten clinical development timelines and enhance real-world data capabilities.
“This investment marks a pivotal step in our journey to give every patient, no matter where they live, a fair shot at tomorrow’s therapies,” said Michel van Harten, CEO of myTomorrows.
“Avego’s extensive expertise in life sciences, particularly BioPharma, will be instrumental as we scale our platform and broaden our impact across the global health landscape.”
“Avego is proud to support myTomorrows in its mission to transform how patients and physicians access therapies in development,” added James Flexner, Managing Partner at Avego.
“We believe myTomorrows is uniquely positioned to remove barriers for patients and providers while serving as an essential partner to biopharma.”
According to myTomorrows, the company has helped nearly 17,000 patients across 133 countries, supporting patients and physicians with navigation services, treatment matching, and streamlined access to clinical trials and EAPs.
