Syngene International has announced the appointment of Abhijit Zutshi as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Maninder Kapoor Puri as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). 

As a member of the Executive Committee, Zutshi is set to lead Syngene’s commercial activities and is tasked with further expanding the CRDMO’s pipeline of partners from innovative US-based biotechs and large pharma.  

Zutshi, who is seen by the CRDMO as a seasoned pharmaceutical executive with nearly 27 years of commercial experience, will also deepen existing partnerships as more global customers undertake late-stage development and commercial supply with Syngene.  

Meanwhile, Puri is viewed as a global HR leader by Syngene, arriving with nearly three decades of experience driving business performance. Her experience spans biopharmaceuticals, IT services, and consulting and she has previously built high-performance organisations aligned to business growth.
