SLAS Europe reveals New Product Award finalists

SLAS has announced the finalists for its New Product Award, with the winners to be announced at the annual conference.

The SLAS 2024 Europe Conference and Exhibition is heading back to Barcelona, 27-29 May, for its fifth annual European conference.

It will feature scientific sessions and keynote presentations, discussion groups, new product demonstrations and extensive exhibition access time.

Podium presentations will be organised into three educational tracks: Frontiers in Technology, Screening Applications & Diagnostics and Shaping the Future of Therapeutics.

The keynote speakers will be Luis Serrano from the Centre for Genomic Regulation, Serrano Lab, and Maria Flocco PhD, from AstraZeneca.

The New Product Award (NPA) will be presented to up to three winning product entries on Tuesday 28 May at 17:30 in the SLAS Booth Theater.

The finalists are Arralyze’s CellShepherd, CellDynamics ISRL’s PL8, CryoLogyx’s CryoLogyx PlateReady, CYTENA’s UP.SIGHT, SEED Biosciences’ Dispen3D, and Yokogawa Deutschland’s CellVoyager CQ3000.

The Ignite Award

The SLAS Ignite Award will also be presented at the event and recognises the best start-up or emerging company exhibiting within Innovation AveNEW.

The five companies competing for the award are Loop Diagnostics, Lucero, Oria Bioscience, Semarion, and Sensific.

They will be judged by an SLAS panel on a combination of key concepts, including their marketing plan, market presence and potential, funding prospects, plan for growth and the existence of balanced company leadership, among other qualities, for a chance to win $5,000.

The Ignite Award will be announced during the Closing Remarks before the Closing Keynote Presentation on Wednesday 29 May at 17:30 in Room 112.
