The 2023 ELRIG Research & Innovation conference will take place on March 29-30. The event will discuss how emerging biology and cutting-edge technologies are pioneering the medicines of tomorrow.
Next year’s R&I meeting will focus on cutting edge innovation, comprising the following four main sessions: Synthetic biology; Healthy ageing; Ultra-rare disease drug discovery and personalised therapies; The rise of AI driven drug discovery.
To be considered for a for a 10-minute oral presentation in the main scientific track, posters must be submitted by March 1, 2023. The deadline for general poster display at the event is March 19, 2023.
Applications are now open for the ELRIG Early Career Professional Impact Award. An Early Career Professional (ECP) can be a student in undergraduate, PhD or first post-doctoral position or a scientist that is less than five years on their industrial career path.
The award will recognise impact achieved through one of the following ways:
- Through the delivery of impactful science, contributing to early, pre-clinical drug discovery
- By their science or technology development work
- Through their leadership or facilitation of collaborations within the drug-discovery space
- Through other philanthropic and volunteering contributions
ECPs may apply directly or be nominated by a colleague, and requires submission of the following:
a one-page, 300-word synopsis of the ECP’s contribution and its impact on early drug discovery and a brief two-page resume.
The deadline to apply is the March 3, 2023 and the winner will be notified before the event.
